Hsialoei And Scott's Maternity Session

Remember our brief heatwave a few days ago?

When I met Hsiaolei and Scott on Monday evening it was 35 degrees Celsius. Which I am pretty sure is about 211 Fahrenheit.

Hsiaolei suggested we shoot at Picchetti Winery because they have peacocks. And she likes peacocks.

Well, when we arrived the birds where nowhere to be found...go figure.

Despite the heat, these two where real troopers and we had a great time shooting and chatting and hopping from shade to shade. (it was really more of a crawl - heat makes me slow).

Audrey And JoJo's Maternity Session

Last weekend I met Audrey and JoJo at Vasona Park in Los Gatos for a Maternity Session.
Audrey is due on August 1 and they are both very excited to welcome their little Leo! The love and intimacy between them was so obvious and made it such a pleasure to photograph! What great parents to be born to.

It was such a joy spending time with the two of you! Here's a little sneak:

Mini Portrait Sessions for Mother's Day

90s Prom Sneak Peak

Last Saturday I did a photo booth at this year's Civil and Environmental Engineering Department’s spring social. It was held at the Hearst Mining Building on campus and the theme was “90’s Prom”. Think Grunge and Flannel Shirts and 90210 and Snap Bracelets and Doc Martens and Spikey Hair and The Macarena!

I think the pictures speak for themselves but let me just say people went all out in their costumes and it was a hilarious event!

Thanks to Corinne and her team, you guys did such a great job!!!

 

For those who care:


I used two umbrellas at 45 degree angle as well as a softbox at camera angle. Something to consider: the flash on people's point-and-shoots sets off the lights, maybe instead of pocket wizards use sync cables, if your photo booth is set up in close proximity to the dance floor and the life of the party.

Andrea's Maternity Shoot

I had the honor of doing a fantastic maternity shoot with Andrea. We have so many pictures to chose from, I might have to do a second post.

Andrea is due April 12. Good luck and I can't wait to meet the new baby boy or girl!

A New Website And A Boudoir Photoshoot

The new website is up!!! Check it out here!!! (that is, if you didn't get here from there........that makes sense, right?) A lot of work went into it, and too much time than I would have liked, but I am really happy with it and like it a lot. Thanks, Cameron, couldn't have done it without you!!!

Beautiful Women

Two of the most beautiful women I have ever had the pleasure of meeting are my mother and sister. I am so proud of them and thankful for the unconditional love and support my family has given me.

I know my dad agrees, sharing a home with three women is a trip. I cannot count how many family dinners we spent laughing uncontrollably until we cried. Usually over things my sister did to me when I was younger (I was all too often her guinea pig and could be dared into anything. Yeah, anything).

Here's to the Fessler Women. Aren't they gorgeous?
